Assessing patients on general medical and surgical wards
Providing specialist advice and maintaining associated records
Planning and implementing care for adults
Carrying out specialist nursing procedures when required
Ability to work under pressure and have excellent attention to detail
Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration for Registered Nurse (RGN/RN. You are expected to work within codes of practice and professional guidelines and be able to communicate health issues effectively.
You are required to have a minimum of 6 months previous work experience within acute healthcare setting and be able to provide 2 professional references.
This job is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and we will carry out a Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions that do not meet the previous offences filtering process.
£18 - £42.00 per hour (dependant on band, location and shifts)
